The VAXSYS System utilizes key technologies to ensure accuracy and individual privacy in registering and tracking COVID-19 vaccinations. At the time of vaccination, a non-invasive iris scan is taken to authenticate the a person's identity. Next, enabled by Iris ID System's IrisAccess software and Gen2Wave's mobile RP70A-BIO mobile biometric tablet, the vaccination data is securely hosted by Vaxsys Technologies' globally-scalable enterprise database.

Iris-Scan Authentication
The VAXSYS System uses iris data, collected at the time of vaccination via a non-invasive, 'contact-less' scan to (1) create a new VAXSYS account; (2) store and update vaccination history; and (3) to verify vaccination status for entry in to COVID-19 controlled venues.

Gen2Wave RP70A-BIO
RP70A BIO is the purpose-built device for mobile authentication and registration of individual identity. It uses integrated professional MRZ scanner, Smartcard reader contact or contactless, a fingerprint sensor, an iris recognition, a facial recognition camera, 1D and 2D Barcode scanner and MSR.
Enrollment in the VAXSYS System begins with the recording of an individual's unique iris scan. The Gen2Wave's RP70A-BIO is ideal for this task, with its 'contact-less' scanning technology, ease-of-use, and rugged mobility.
